New Clips of Kris Mack's Crew!! Updated 2-19-07
My former teammate at Cal Poly, Kris Mack, is now running the pole vault show at Stanford University and doing well. Check out these clips of two of his up and coming vaulters, Graeme Hoste who was a sophomore last year, and Donell Hill, a sophomore this year.

From Extension: "Over ten years ago Roman Botcharnikov made a brave attempt to explain the effectiveness of the Petrov/Bubka model of vaulting by developing his ‘Continuous chain’ concept. He argued that the vaulter must put a ‘continuous chain of energy’ into the pole throughout the vault. Above all the athlete must avoid passive phases where they move on the pole but do not put energy into it."
In the future all video clips will be in the QuickTime format. QuickTime allows for frame by frame viewing. This is done by clicking on the clip to stop it after it has downloaded. Use the spacebar and left and right arrows for pause and frame by frame. The perfect player for watching pole vault clips.
